Munich and Hamburg, 26 January 2024 – Müller Schupfner & Partner have appointed Dr Stephan Kratz as a partner with effect from 1 January 2024.
Dr Kratz has been working for MSP at the Munich office since November 2016. In addition to his degree and Ph.D. in physics from the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität in Bonn, he has also been admitted as a German and European Patent Attorney since 2018.
Dr Kratz’s areas of responsibility include assisting with application procedures, conducting patent infringement and patent nullity proceedings and coordinating international patent application strategies. His extensive technical expertise ranges from optics and forming technology to satellite technology. In addition, his core activities also include conducting IP searches and infringement and validity analyses.
