Profile

Matthias joined the Müller Schupfner & Partner team in August 2019 and is completing his training as a patent attorney under the guidance of Dr Reta Schinkel. His field of activity includes, in particular, drafting patent applications and handling examination proceedings.

Matthias studied physics at the University of Würzburg. After a year abroad at the State University of New York, Stony Brook, USA, he returned to Würzburg to specialise in surface physics. As part of his doctorate, he investigated magnetic & electronic properties of honeycomb structures.
