As a medium-sized IP law firm, we offer our staff a wide range of development and training opportunities in a pleasant and familiar working environment. Müller Schupfner & Partner advises universities, start-ups, medium-sized companies and international groups, including many very well-known companies, on all aspects of IP protection. The variety of proceedings – from applications to oppositions and actions for infringement – as well as the fact that we regularly file and handle not only patents, but also trademarks and designs, creates a varied working day. As we maintain contacts with clients and correspondent attorneys worldwide, our working languages are German and English.
With us, every employee belongs to a team that is assigned a uniform client base for comprehensive support. This gives you the opportunity to deal with a wide range of tasks, to learn from each other and to exchange different perspectives, as well as to actively shape your working environment.
Our processes are well structured and organised to produce well thought-out and error-free work results in the time frame allotted. This also allows us to make part-time work possible, both for lawyers and staff.
We place great emphasis on further training and professional exchange. We give you the opportunity to develop and deepen your knowledge through internal training and external seminars.
Last but not least, we want our employees to enjoy their work, attach importance to good team cohesion and regularly organise company outings and celebrations.
In our listed old building on the Theresienwiese, around 45 employees work in very spacious single to maximum three-person offices at modern computer workstations. We offer coffee, cold drinks and fruit at all times, as well as a lounge. The Forum Schwanthalerhöhe is within walking distance, with numerous shops, supermarkets and cafés and restaurants. Many employees also appreciate the excellent connections to the MVV and Deutsche Bahn through the Theresienwiese underground station directly opposite.
South of the city centre, we reside in two building sections of the historic Harburg State Railway Station dating from 1847. The old brick architecture, an imposing ceiling height and large windows create an inspiring working environment for approx. 12 employees. Our offices are well laid out, bright and friendly. We are supported by a modern computer infrastructure, electronic files and a diverse beverage logistics system. The quarter at Harburg’s inland harbour with its old warehouse architecture is known under the name “Channel Hamburg” as a high-tech and university location and in the meantime also for living on the waterfront with shopping facilities and restaurants. It is very well connected to public transport.
We are regularly looking for committed employees from various professional groups. Due to our international orientation, above-average German and English language skills are required for all positions. In particular, we regularly advertise positions for the following professional groups:
- Patent paralegal
- Foreign language correspondent
- Trainee as a patent attorney clerk
- Graduates in natural sciences or engineering for training as patent attorney clerks
