Profile

Reta has been working in Intellectual Property for 20 years and advises clients in both patent and trademark law. Her focus is on portfolio counseling, handling patent applications in the fields of software, medical imaging and artificial intelligence, conducting opposition and appeal proceedings, and drafting contracts. She also advises on trademark filing strategies and conflicts, and negotiates coexistence agreements.

After studying physics at the University of Cambridge, where she achieved First Class Honours, Reta did her Ph.D. in Basel on Magnetic Resonance Imaging. She completed her training as a patent attorney in 2003 and joined Müller Schupfner & Partner a year later.
